[News] SNSD is popular among Thai college students!

Yes, that is Jesus and Girls' Generation next to each other.

During a recent cheer competition held among different Thai colleges, SONEs got a big surprise, when Debsirin School (an all-boys school), used Girls' Generation as their representative image. During this part of the competition, students in the stands held up individual placards collectively showing an image which represents their college. As we can see, Bangkok Christian College chose an image of Jesus, whereas Debsirin chose Girls' Generation from their "Genie" phase, with a subtle green color change in order to match their school.

We can definitely see the impact Korean Pop has on the youth of Thailand, and the use of Girls' Generation's image shows how widespread their popularity has become throughout Asia.

SONEs from Debsirin College are extremely dedicated, right?
